Draft regulation for proactive planting

As part of my work with Kanach Yerevan, I prepared, published, and sent a draft regulation for proactive planting to the city hall. Currently, the city doesn't allow people to simply plant trees on the streets (which is generally the right approach, I understand why). But something needed to be done, because destroying plantings turns residents against the city.

I already had some experience communicating with city authorities, most of it positive. So I thought I could try to take it to the next level. In the process of preparing the draft, I found several interesting international agreements and programs related to greening that Yerevan has signed up for.

It's a very interesting experience, and if this regulation can be pushed through, it will be an important step in my new career as an arborist.
